• positionOnCarEnd: This is the basic position of the coupler with regard to the car ends, i.e. front/rear/both.

• positionOnMechanicalCoupler: This is the basic position of the electrical coupling device in relation to the mechanical coupler, used when integrated coupling device. It can be one of the listed values.

• none - The electrical coupling device is not integrated in the mechanical coupler.
• aside - The electrical coupling device is mounted on both sides of the mechanical coupler.
• ontop - The electrical coupling device is mounted on top of the mechanical coupler.
• below - The electrical coupling device is mounted below the mechanical coupler.

• numberContacts: This is the number of contacts/lines the electrical coupling device provides. The value shall be consistent with the designType.

Syntactic Constraints / Syntaktische Beschränkungen

The element can occur several times for a vehicle. When it is used the attributes positionOnCarEnd and designType are mandatory.
