The element <monitoring> contains all data about the installed train control and protection systems of that vehicle. The element is used for any powered vehicle or any vehicle with a driver's cab.
Das Element <monitoring> enthält alle Angaben zu den installierten Zugbeeinflussungssystemen des Fahrzeuges. Es wird sowohl für angetriebene Fahrzeuge als auch für Steuerwagen benötigt.

- baliseTransmitter: A flag, whether the vehicle can communicate with balises.
- radio: A flag, whether the vehicle comprises train radio equipment.
- radioSystem: A space separated list of available radio systems for communication with the control centre, e.g. 'GSM-R'.
