Semantics / Bedeutung

The element <otherEquipment> contains data about any other equipment used for train traffic, which are not safety relevant and does neither fit into <nationalSystem> nor <trainRadio>, e.g. "eBuLa" (electronic timetable and local speed restrictions).

Das Element <otherEquipment> beschreibt alle anderen nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Einrichtungen für den Zugverkehr, die weder in <nationalSystem> noch <trainRadio> passen, wie z.B. "eBuLa" (elektronischer Buchfahrplan und Langsamfahrstellen).

Attributes of otherEquipment / Attribute von otherEquipment

• id: Unique identifier which is used to refer to this particular item. This ID is always required for the item. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.

• name: A short name for the item can be given here, if wanted. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.

• description: In addition to a short name a more detailed description can be given here. This shall allow a short overview or hints to the contents of this dat set. It is inherited as a common feature from the type tElementWithIDAndName.
• softwareVersion: This is the version of installed software in the on-board unit as additional information.

Die Angabe der verwendeten Softwareversion ist eine Zusatzinformation.

• onBoardUnitID: This contains the unique ID given to a particular on-board unit, which is used for the communication with control centre.

Für die Adressierung bei der Kommunikation erhält jedes Fahrzeuggerät eine eindeutige Identifikation, unter der es von der Zentrale angesprochen werden kann.
